On May 18, 2024, Beijing SIO Technology Co., Ltd led and undertook the national key research and development program "Smart sensor" key special project "Deep sea high precision temperature salt depth integrated fiber optic vector acoustic sensor and array system research" project test outline review meeting was successfully held in Hebei Yanjiao.
The panel is composed of authoritative domestic experts in related fields, including Wang Junbo, Researcher of Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jiao Binbin, researcher of Microelectronics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Jianping, researcher of the Chinese Academy of Metrology, Cheng Shaohua, Senior engineer of the National Marine Standard Metrology Center, and Liu Wu, Senior engineer of the original Equipment Demonstration Center. The meeting was presided over by Liu Dongwei, chief engineer of Beijing SIO Technology Co., Ltd, which ensured the standardization and efficiency of the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Junbo, the leader of the expert group, first clarified the review requirements of the test outline and emphasized the important guiding significance of the review meeting for the follow-up project work. Afterwards, Li Fang, the project leader and researcher of Semiconductor Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, introduced the basic situation of the project. Then, Wang Yongjie, the associate researcher in charge of the project team, made a comprehensive report on the content of the test outline, and explained in detail the test methods and criteria of various technical indicators. Through listening to reports, reviewing relevant materials, questioning and discussion, the expert group unanimously agreed that the test outline can be used as the basis for the test acceptance of each subject of the project, and put forward valuable modification suggestions for some contents, which will be implemented by the project team one by one. The evaluation of the test outline lays a good foundation for the smooth development of the follow-up research work of the project.
The project of "Deep-sea high precision Temperature and salt Depth Integrated Fiber vector Underwater acoustic Sensor and Array System Research" is led by Beijing SIO Technology Co., Ltd, and jointly undertaken by ten units including Institute of Semiconductors, Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences and National University of Defense Technology. The project will carry out research on the basic element, array and deep sea application of high precision temperature and salt depth integrated fiber vector underwater acoustic sensor. The results of the project will promote the progress of the core technical indicators of sensors and equipment, lead the development direction of ocean observation and exploration, change the situation that high-end Marine instruments and equipment are monopolized by the West, and achieve "running" or even "leading" with the international advanced level in this research field. Providing strong technical and equipment support for China's Marine scientific research, Marine environment observation and deep-sea target exploration has important scientific and social value for national Marine security and protection of rights and interests.
